Jen Maguire has
more than twenty years experience in public relations, advertising, brand licensing, consumer
promotions and marketing communications.
Prior to launching
Maguire Public Relations, Inc. in 2002, Jen's most notable corporate
experience included time at Grey Advertising on the Revlon account, Playboy
Enterprises, BET Publishing, Primedia, and the Seventeen brand, which included 200
live teen events yearly.
Additionally, she
served as the Deputy Press Secretary, Bush/Quayle '88 New Jersey headquarters,
where she worked closely with the White House press corps, White House advance
teams and The Secret Service. Her political work also includes serving on the
campaign staff of Millicent Fenwick for Senate.
Jen graduated with
a B.A. in Public Relations from the Grady College of Journalism & Mass
Communications at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She minored in
Business and Speech Communications. She also holds a certificate in Best
Practices in PR Measurement from the Institute for Public Relations.
She
is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, (PRSA) Independent
Practitioners Alliance (IPA), Publicity Club of New York (PCNY), Entertainment
Publicists Professional Society (EPPS), Mediabistro and Freelancers Union.
